Printing Workshop

Overview

Working alongside our experienced lab technician you will learn the fundamental skills you need to make a silver gelatin print including; how to use an enlarger, basic printing steps, how contrast filters work, paper processing and more advanced printing techniques like dodging and burning, print evaluation techniques and more!

Course Duration: 4 hours 9:00am to 1:00pm

What you need to know

  • District Darkroom will provide Ilford Multigrade RC photo paper and chemicals

  • You are required to bring black and white negatives 35mm or Medium Format

  • A box or folder to take home completed prints
