Heck yes! Everyone needs to make a booking, you can book via our website here.

How do I book?

You can make a booking directly through our website by clicking "Book the Darkroom" or click here.

Can I make changes to my booking?

You sure can, if you need to change or cancel your casual booking get in touch no later than 3 days prior to your booking date and we can sort that out.

What if I can't make my booking?

If you can’t make your booking please use your original booking confirmation email to cancel your appointment as a courtesy to us. That way we can plan our schedule accordingly. Alternatively you can email info@districtdarkroom.com.au and we can help you reschedule your booking.

Is there a fee for cancelling?

If you get in touch 3 days prior to your casual booking there is no cancellation fee and you can move your booking to another date that suits. Email info@districtdarkroom.com.au and make the subject title CANCELLATION.

If you don't show that’s a different story! There are no changes or refunds for no shows, you simply lose you spot and the fee. We take time prior to your booking to ensure you’re all setup and ready to go, this includes chemical mixing enlarger setup etc. If you don’t show the fee will go toward our time and chemical usage.

Can I invite my friends?

Due to the size of DDC we can not allow extra people in the darkroom who are not working. If you require assistance while working please get in touch and we will most certainly do our best to accomodate your needs.

Induction.

Do I need to complete an induction first?

Yes, everyone that books with DDC must participate in the induction. We understand that there will be some people with darkroom experience but to ensure all bases are covered and everyone is clear on how we do things at DDC it is a compulsory requirement.

How do I book an induction?

For casuals: When you head to our booking page you will notice that the induction is the first step in making a booking, once you have booked in an induction date you will be prompted to then book a darkroom session (at your own leisure).

When do I have to complete induction?

We run inductions Wednesday nights from 6:30pm to 7:30pm. You can also choose to do your induction 30mins before your darkroom booking. Follow the prompts in the booking process to make your selection.

You must complete the induction PRIOR to your booking otherwise you can not attend DDC. If you are unable to attend the Wednesday evening induction that’s no problem!

Get in touch via info@districtdarkroom.com.au and we can discuss making a suitable time for your induction. Please note that this will be subject our availability and schedule. If you know prior to making your booking you are unable to attend the induction please get in touch before finalising your booking.
