Large format portrait additional photo
This weekend, 15–16 March, is the Coburg Makers Market at the Coburg Studios where we are located. We will be running a traditional film portrait photography session with a large format camera. If you are interested in having a unique portrait made then head along and we will work together to create something special just for you. Large format cameras link back to the very early days of photography. Even though we will be using a relatively modern version of the camera, and modern film and paper for the print, the massive negative area (4 x 5 inches) and special way that large format lenses render the image, creates a photo that can’t be duplicated by other methods.
Portraits cost $50 for an individual or $75 for two images paid together. You will get a contact print and one 10x8 inch enlargement plus a low res scan of the contact print which is ideal to make your profile pic jump out.
This is for an additional photo over and above the one photo or two photo options, add as many as you need, but you must have one of the other options in your order too.
Images will be hand developed and hand printed at the darkroom and will be ready before the end of March. They will not be ready on the day though.
Come along and have a traditional portrait made, or just come along and chat about film photography and find out about what we do at District Darkroom!
